    I. About TUFE

Tianjin, one of China’s four municipalities directly under the Central Government, is located adjacent to Beijing, just a 30-minute journey by high-speed rail. As the largest port city in northern China, Tianjin is also a city of great historical and cultural significance, an advanced manufacturing R&D base, and a financial innovation operation demonstration zone.

Tianjin University of Finance and Economics (TUFE), established in 1958, covers an area of nearly 1,400 mu (about 93 hectares) and enrolls over 16,000 full-time students. It offers a multidisciplinary range of programs including literature, law, science, engineering, and art, with economics and management as its core. TUFE serves as a municipal key university in Tianjin and an important base for cultivating senior economic and management talents in north China. The university has three first-level doctoral programs and postdoctoral research stations in applied economics, business administration, and management science and engineering, nine first-level master programs, and 15 professional master programs. TUFE has developed a complete education system for cultivating bachelors, masters, and doctors. TUFE has been enrolling international students since 1996. To date, the university has welcomed over 10,000 students from more than 60 countries and regions, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Vietnam, the ROK, the UK, the US, and Gabon, to pursue or further their studies.
